Our Network Members
The work of Indigenous East is rooted in relationships—with land, with water, and with the communities who steward them. We support Indigenous and Afro-Indigenous-led projects that reflect the sovereignty, creativity, and cultural strength of the peoples of the Eastern Woodlands.
Some of these projects are fiscally sponsored by Indigenous East. Others receive peer mentorship, technical support, or connections to donors and allies. All are part of a growing network of rematriation, cultural revitalization, and land protection efforts led by federally recognized, state recognized, and relationally-recognized communities.
Each project reflects its own vision and place, and each project is in a varying stage of development, but all are united by a shared commitment: to care for our homelands and lifeways and to preserve our cultures for the generations to come.
Please note: We will be working to add all of our individual network members to this page through August 2024. Check back to see more projects as they appear here!
